Where it all begins....
While reflecting on the next chapter in my career, I asked my favorite AI tool “what is the most powerful word in the world”. Much to my surprise, according to AI, ‘the most powerful word in the world is often considered to be “yes.” This three-letter word embodies agreement, connection, and positivity, fostering collaboration and empowerment in relationships.’
As I thought about what kind of communications consultancy I wanted to create, coming from ‘a place of yes’ seemed like the best place to start. So, with a mindset of connection, positivity and empowerment, yes Communications was born.
I have spent over 25 years contributing to the success and growth of Fortune 500 companies in the US and Europe. Now, I am looking to partner with leaders and organizations who understand the value of communications and the power of yes. I want to help leaders transform their vision into reputation-building strategies, leverage impactful storytelling to win the hearts and minds of their audience and maybe even change the world!

About me
My name is Aimee Christian, Ph.D.
I have always described myself as a scientist with a creative soul. This combination of approaching challenges with an experimental mindset and a creative flair has fueled a fulfilling 25+ year career of managing robust communications strategies, telling impactful stories and winning the hearts of minds of diverse audiences. I have held global leadership positions in both Europe and the US at Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Sanofi, Novartis, Syngenta, Amgen and City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center. In 2025, I am excited to join the Boston University faculty as the Sandra Frazier Professor of Public Relations in the College of Communication.
Professionally, I am never happier than when I am partnering with amazing leaders who "get" communications and understand the power of their words and actions. I am energized when we are able to work together and create magic through creative communications for internal and external audiences.
I started my journey in the lab as a Ph.D. candidate in Biochemistry from Drexel University College of Medicine but quickly realized that my scientific expertise would be much better served in the biopharmaceutical world as a communications professional. As a lifelong learner, I recently received a certificate in Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business strategy from MIT Executive Education as I am acutely aware of the importance of AI and I wanted to stay ahead of the curve. Finally, I take my commitment to team leadership and development incredibly seriously and was honored to be named a PharmaVoice 100 Standout Leader recipient in 2024.
When I am not working, you will find me at the gym, on the trails or in the kitchen. I love to do pilates, hike the natural beauty of Maine and prepare fantastic meals for my friends and family.
